Our Family....

We just got our hands on the pictures my sister, Anna, has taken over the last couple of years so we thought it was time we updated the family blog :)

Bowen is 5. He's funny. He still loves trains. He's in Kindergarten - which he loves as long as they're doing something fun. As soon as they try to teach him something, not so much.

The funniest thing Bowen has done recently... Bowen and his friend Talon were playing in his room. I don't know what happened but all of a sudden I hear Bo say, "DON'T hit her. That's my sister. My BABY sister. She's just a baby - don't hit her ever, EVER, EVER again!" I didn't even go in to see what happened - it was just too funny. It seems, however, that Bowen himself can hit Talia all he wants.

Jade is 8 and in the 3rd grade. She still says that when she grows up she wants to be "an author of children's stories". It's her only motivation to practice her spelling words. She is a huge help around the house - especially with Talia. Jade takes Tali for a bath almost every night. She'll change diapers and watch a show with Tali to keep her happy. Tali LOVES Jade.

Kenzie is 11 and in the 5th grade. She's starting to act like a little grown up person and sometimes like a teenager. She likes to cook - brownies are a big favorite. She helps out by babysitting. She loves to play Wizard 101 on the computer and she's learning to draw in the Japanese Anima style.

Tali is our little monster. She is a total mama's girl and thinks that life would be awesome if she could be sutured to my hip. The love of her life is Harry Potter - so we watch it all the time. She doesn't care which movie is playing so we switch them around so we don't hear the same one over and over.

Sitting still is NOT her gift (unless it's to watch Harry). She loves babies and rides in the car. She thinks if someone's going out than she needs to go as well.

Tali's days as the baby are numbered. We're expecting a new baby girl in April. Kenzie and Jade are excited and are fighting over who the baby should look like. Bowen says that everything will be different with another human in the house. Poor kid...stuck in the middle of a bunch of girls. Good thing he has his friend Talon up the street. Talon doesn't have any brothers either.
